Humanity - A poem

They say I see humans, but see not humanity.
The endless killing globally is literally insanity.
Profit making put before our human dignity
And the silence of the majority definitely saddens me.

Corporations benefit from all the devastations
Supported by the media to promote lies and deviations
Yet so many buy the lies an never even question.
What are the facts and what is the correlation?

The earth is dying, can't you see it crying 
But talk about global warning you are lying 
What are we leaving to future generations? 
The way things are going, it will be total devastation 

Elephants are being killed for display ornaments
Lions shot by dentists and others for amusement
Native Americans confined to reservations 
Palestinians still praying for their lost nation
 

Labeled differently because of your religion or the colour of you skin. 
You'll be excused for confusing what century we live in.
 
Oh.. tell me again about seeing no humanity
We need to break this continuous cycle of insanity 
Start caring for the living no matter who or what they might be. 
Only then will we truly see the love of humanity  

As intolerance is on the rise and becoming more and more tolerated. We all need to work harder to achieve PEACE, promote HUMANITY and defeat the hate. 
We need to start talking and learning about each other, and even if we disagree, we will respectfully disagree
